UPDATE:
Police were back at the home of missing woman Kortne Stouffer Monday night. It has now been more than a week since the 21-year-old Palmyra girl went missing.
Police are saying little while the community remains on edge.
The search warrant police issued on her Palmyra apartment is sealed. That was news to her family, who returned to Kortne's apartment with police by their side.
Palmyra Police let Wendy Stouffer, the mother of missing woman Kortne Stouffer into her daughter's West Main Street Palmyra apartment.
Since cops issued a search warrant on the home last week, crime scene and evidence tape remained sealed on doors and stairways blocking anyone from going inside.
Stouffer’s mother did not want to talk to us Monday night and wiped tears as she carried what appeared to be items from the place her daughter was last seen a week ago.
After Wendy Stouffer left, they put crime scene tape back up.
The District Attorney’s Office sealed the search warrant but has not called Kortne's disappearance criminal, he'll only say it is suspicious.
Saturday, July 28 Kortne was seen dancing with friends at the Hardware Bar in Downtown Harrisburg. Early Sunday morning a neighbor saw her.
The next day her apartment door was locked, and her purse, keys, cell phone and her dog left inside.
“I’m being extra cautious,” stated neighbor Kate Dill. “Its scary because I’m from Palmyra.”
“There’s a lot of kids in this area,” added Kathy Lebo. “To take a 21-year-old, it’s a shame.”
Monday Both Kortne’s family and police said there was nothing new in the investigation.
CBS 21 News has learned the group of people Kortne went out with that Saturday night was interviewed by police.
She also has a boyfriend, who her family does not believe is involved in her disappearance. He is reportedly on house arrest for a DUI charge.
