Pennsylvania State Police at York are looking for information after the body of an unidentified white male was found in the travel lanes of Interstate 83 Saturday morning. The body was found around 5:15 a.m. near the southbound Loganville exit. The individual was struck by at least one vehicle. Police are asking anyone with information, or anyone who may have struck the victim believing it could have been a deer or another animal, to call them at (717) 428-1011.
PSP in York says the road will stay closed while the York County Coroner's Office and the PSP Forensic Services Unit investigate.
Traffic is being detoured off the interstate at Exit 14 and directed back on at Exit 10.
