Ephrata has lifted their emergency curfew that was set to expire Wednesday. The Borough is back to operating under normal conditions.
The curfew was put into place to protect residents and first responders during Hurricane Sandy. The Ephrata Police Department wants to thank Borough residents for their cooperation during the weather incident.
Borough residents who missed their trash pickup Tuesday are asked to put their trash out for Wednesday. Borough residents who usually have their trash picked up on Wednesdays should also put their trash out Wednesday following their usual schedule. Thursday and Friday pickups will be as normally scheduled.
Trick-or-treat will still occur on Wednesday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
