The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette is reporting that former Penn State President Graham Spanier has been charged in connection to the Jerry Sandusky child sex scandal.
A source told the newspaper that State Attorney General Linda Kelly will announce today that Spanier is facing perjury and obstruction of justice charges.
Spanier was forced to resign a year ago in wake of the scandal.
The Freeh Report said Spanier knew about the accusations against Sandusky, and worked with other university officials to cover them up.
Spanier has denied the accusations.
The Post-Gazette says his attorneys had no comment last night.
