The Lebanon County Detective Bureau has charged two Palmyra Area men in connection with the sales and distribution of Synthetic Marijuana and Bath Salts.
It is alleged that on or around December 31, 2011, a purchase was made by a member of the Lebanon County Drug Task Force from a business operating under the name of Up In Smoke, which was located at 232 West Main Street in the Borough of Palmyra.
The business was owned and operated by Ernest T. Green, 35, of 1445 East Chocolate Avenue in Hershey.
Lab testing Lab testing confirmed the delivered product had been treated with AM-2201, analogue of JWH-018, a Schedule I Controlled Substance.
Green, and the store clerk, Ricky Lee Williams, 22, of 243 North Chestnut Street Palmyra, PA. 17078 were charged with Delivery of a Controlled
Substance, and Criminal Conspiracy to Deliver a Controlled Substance in connection with this undercover purchase.
Green immediately shut down the store and surrendered the illegal products after this incident.
A Preliminary Hearing has been set for November 29, 2012.
