Obama headquarters is on South Third Street in downtown Harrisburg. Computers and telephones are the tools of the day. But it's dedicated volunteers who do the work.
One volunteer, Steve Pierce said even though we're close to elections, neither candidate has won the election just yet. "This is not in the bag yet. We gotta make sure we get out the vote, make sure people vote themselves and get other people out to vote and if they can come help us."
Republicans set up shop in suburban Harrisburg, in the 4800 Block of Jonestown Road. Like their counterparts the Romney faithful are making phone calls trying to recruit volunteers to work this weekend through election day.
They too, are calling to get out the vote. Lou Ann Benedict is enthused at the phone response. "It really sounds like there's an awful lot of enthusiasm. I'm really excited. People seem to be really committed to the Romney campaign in particular."
Governor Romney's son, Tagged, is scheduled to be at Bass Pro Shop at 6 Thursday night. And as further proof, the Republicans think Romney can win Pennsylvania, his campaign just purchased $7 million in television advertising in Pennsylvania.
