The Dauphin County Coroner says the 16-year-old girl who was killed in a hit-and-run crash Wednesday morning, died from multiple traumatic injuries.
Meanwhile, Harrisburg Police have yet to make an arrest.
At the corner of 13th and Sycamore Streets, where the deadly crash happened, people have placed flowers, and candles. Those who knew the girl say doing this helps them grieve.
16-year-old Raylynn Soto was hit and killed while she was trying to cross the street at 13th and Sycamore Streets in Harrisburg Wednesday morning.
"I couldn't believe it,” stated Soto’s friend, Noel Castro. “I was in shock I didn't want to believe it."
Moel Castro was her friend. He placed a rose at the site where she was killed in that hit and run crash.
"Why would you do something like that?” Castro questioned. “She was a child?”
Raylynn's best friend is also still in shock.
“She never had problems, she was quiet, she was my love," commented her best friend.
Harrisburg Police say they've identified the driver who hit the girl, but, hoping to make an arrest soon, they aren't releasing the name to the media just yet.
