A clever elephant called Koshik has impressed scientists by displaying his flair for languages. The Asian elephant, which lives at the Everland Zoo in South Korea, tucks his trunk into his mouth to affect a human-like voice and has learned five Korean words meaning hello, good, no, sit down, and lie down. While researchers say Koshik has no idea what the words mean, they believe he took up the jibber-jabber as a way of relating to his human buddies.
