It's a mysterious find the day after Halloween, in a wooded area behind the Masonic Village in Elizabethtown.
The Lancaster County Coroner says a hunter found a skull and other human bones Thursday morning around 10. He says the bones have been there for a sufficient amount of time, but could not say how long.
It appears that they belong to an adult, and police say right now it doesn't appear the person, whose remains were found, is related to a Masonic Village resident or staff member.
Late Friday night, the coroner would not say if the bones were that of a man or a woman, if there appeared to be trauma or the cause of death.
The coroner plans to release more information Monday. Over the weekend they will work on identifying the remains.
