In Lancaster County, a teenager was killed in a farming accident Friday.
The 14-year-old was killed when he fell off a piece of farming equipment he had been riding on in a field.
The accident happened in the 300 block of Centerville Road in Leacock Township around eleven Friday morning.
The coroner says the 14-year-old boy was steering an equine-drawn plow when he fell off. He was run over and stuck under the heavy piece of equipment.
He was found when someone noticed the animals had stopped moving in the field. The teen was pronounced dead at the scene.
There was no one else in the field with the teen at the time of the accident.
His death has been ruled an accident.
