A 64-year-old York woman left her home Saturday, November 10 in her wheelchair on her way to a Senior Center.
She left her home in the 600 Block of North George Street, to go to the Senior Center on West King Street.
The woman told police she had her purse hanging on the arm of her electric wheelchair, when she was approached from behind by a white, skinny male, wearing light colored clothes. The suspect approached her in the 500 Block of North George Street.
The suspect grabbed the purse off of the arm of the wheelchair, and fled.
The purse was found later in the 900 Block of North George Street. Cash was missing from the purse.
