Police investigate armed robbery, find get away car set on fire

Lebanon Police are investigating an armed robbery that happend on November 14. 

Police were dispatched to the corner store at 5th & Lehman Streets for a Robbery.

Witnesses told police two males had entered the store and one displayed a handgun and robbed the clerk of an undisclosed amount of cash.

During the robbery one of the suspects struck the clerk and knocked a patron to the floor.

The suspects fled the store and ran north on 5th St. A witness observed them enter a parked small silver car with black wheels, then drive north on 5th St.

The suspects were described as males wearing red hoodies with masks.

A short time later North Lebanon Fire and Police were dispatched to the area of Kenbrook Rd and Kercher Ave for a vehicle fire.

The vehicle was a small Silver Honda and the fire appeared to have been intentionally set and the car was destroyed.

The car was unoccupied and no persons were located in the area. The car is registered to an individual in Reading and had not been reported stolen at the time of the incident.

It is believed to be the getaway vehicle used in the robbery.

The investigation is ongoing, anyone with information is asked to contact the Lebanon City Police or Crime Stoppers.
