From Lower Allen Township police:
On Sunday November 18, 2012, at approximately 6:40
p.m., Lower Allen Police were dispatched to the Subway restaurant in the Wesley Plaza, 1010
Wesley Dr for an armed robbery.
A white male in his 20's, with a slender build, approximately 5'07”, wearing a black leather
jacket, blue jeans and a black ski mask entered the Subway and demanded cash from the
employees. The subject displayed a handgun during the robbery. There were no injuries.
He left the store with an undetermined amount of cash. He was last seen heading to the rear of
the shopping center. Police were assisted by a Summit Search and Rescue tracking dog, Upper
Allen Township and Mechanicsburg and Shiremanstown Borough Police Departments.
This is the second Subway robbery within the past week in the Township. Police are working to
determine if the two are connected. As well as if they are connected to other area crimes.
