A homeless man who drove his truck into his ex-girlfriend’s house and then threw a knife at police is now behind bars.
Tuesday, we spoke to the woman who lives in the house. She said she used to be the suspect’s girlfriend and he’s been harassing her since they broke up. And even though it sounds crazy – a man intentionally driving through a house - it didn’t surprise her.
A blue tarp covers the hole that police say was made by the truck Guyon Fisher, 56, was driving.
According to the woman who lives in this East Cocalico Township home, Fisher is her ex-boyfriend. But about a year ago, they broke up.
Ever since, she says, Fisher has been harassing her and it culminated Sunday morning when police say he drove his truck into her house.
The homeowner, and Fisher’s ex-girlfriend, told us when she got home from work, Fisher’s truck was already in her house. But it was stuck on top of a rock. He was trying to use these 2x4s to get it unstuck. But when he saw her pull in, he then went her with a knife.
When police arrived, Fisher was still chasing the victim. When they tried to stop him he threw a knife at them and threatened to kill them. The victim did not want to go on camera, but she did give us this statement: “I knew this would not end well. I can rest peacefully now because he’s been harassing me for a long time. It was scary. I’m glad it’s over.”
Fisher was booked in the Lancaster Country Prison and faces a slew of charges including felony aggravated assault.
