A woman is dead after police say she tried to smuggle PCP to sell in Harrisburg. The drugs were hidden inside her body and police say she accidentally overdosed.

The man she was with is facing charges in connection to her death.

The pair bought the drugs in New York City, and law enforcement here in the Susquehanna Valley say this is a growing problem.

Anthony Parker, 39, Mikkia Dudley-Jackson, 25,  and a 15-year-old girl from Harrisburg went to New York City for the weekend to buy 1.5 ounces of PCP with a plan to sell the drug in Central Pennsylvania.

Fran Chardo, First Assistant District Attorney says the amount of the drug the pair bought would be worth some money here. “In the form it was received, the liquid form, it might be worth 900 dollars, but then once it’s converted and sold, deposited on some substance that can be transferred easily, you can make a couple thousand dollars on it.”

The Dudley-Jackson wrapped the bottle that contained the drug in a condom and put it in her vagina to keep police from finding it in case they were pulled over, but that decision turned out to be her last.

“It’s an extremely dangerous drug – the manner in which it was transported made it all the more dangerous and obviously resulted in death," Chardo said.

She was found dead in the back of the car when the group arrived back in Harrisburg, and Parker tried to cover it up.  But Tuesday, he was arrested and charged with involuntary manslaughter among other charges.

Dave Robinson lives across the street from Parker, he said he had no idea this was going on.  “I wouldn’t have been aware of it had their not been a problem, but I have no idea what some people do in the neighborhood.”

Chardo says this drug is starting to become a problem in Central PA.  “It’s something that can be a problem anywhere. It’s something we didn’t see a lot of only a couple of years ago – this is a sign that maybe we’re seeing more and more of it, and I think we have been. Hopefully it’s not a trend.”
