Pennsylvania State Police have identified the deceased as Juan Bonilla, Jr., 21, of YorkCity. No arrests have been made, according to a PSP news release.
Investigators have determined that the incident began as a fight inside of the Veterans Political Association on Loucks Road.
Shots were fired inside the building, prompting a crowd to exit to the parking lot, according to the release.
Once outside, additional shots were fired, according to the release.
Bonilla’s cause of death will be released after further investigation and an autopsy by the YorkCounty coroner.

One person is dead after a large fight and shooting in York, according to a city police news release.
The incident happened early Saturday morning at the Veterans Political Association on Loucks Road.
Officers from the York City Police Department and the West Manchester Township Police Department responded to a reported fight just after 2:30 a.m. and discovered an active shooting, according to the release.
Someone in the crowd shot at the officers and at least one officer returned fire, the release said.
The deceased has not been identified but York City Police chief Wes Kahley confirms that the deceased is civilian, not an officer with either of the responding police departments.
The cause of death has not been released. No other injuries were reported.
