Now to a heartwarming story out of New Hampshire, where a woman's dying wish has been made possible by her grandson.
21-year old Brandon Cook says his grandmother, who's dying of cancer, wanted clam chowder from Panera Bread.
But they only made the soup on Friday, and he made the request last Tuesday. However, Panera decided to make a special order and even put together a box of cookies.
“It was the last thing she actually ate,” Cook explained. “She has not passed away yet, but she's on morphine now and drinking water, so it was the last physical meal that she ate. She had about 10 bites, which at that point was a lot.“
Brandon says what matters to him is knowing that his grandma had a final wish fulfilled.
