The Middletown Borough Council is set to adopt it's 2013 general fund budget, Tuesday night.
But as proposed, eight full-time positions must be abolished to balance it. There is talk that some of those job cuts could be police officers and that has some residents up in arms.
One resident believes the Borough Council has gone wild. He's disappointed that he only learned about Tuesday's special meeting yesterday after someone spotted the notice in a classified ad.
He doesn't know why Councilman Sites failed to show up for his own news conference, but he hopes he has the opportunity to address council.
