PennDOT District 8 today announced that on Dec. 4 York County maintenance crews will conduct repairs on the I-83 North bridge over Loucks Mill Road north of the City of York in Spring Garden Township, York County.
PennDOT advises travelers that Dec. 4 they will encounter a right lane restriction between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. as crews repair a bridge expansion joint on I-83 North between the Sherman Street overpass and Exit 21-A for U.S. Route 30 East – Arsenal Road.
This section of I-83 North averages more than 26,600 vehicles traveled daily.
PennDOT advises motorists that they should expect delays and allow extra time for travelling due to the high volume of traffic in this area.
Motorists are encouraged to slow down and pay attention when traveling through work zones, not only for their safety, but for the safety of the road crews.
