Two veterans and their wives have filed a lawsuit over a deadly parade accident in Texas.
The suit cites gross negligence on behalf of the railroad company and the company that owned the flatbed truck.
The four people were part of a group riding a flatbed truck when a freight train slammed into them.
Four veterans were killed and more than a dozen other people were hurt. One of those was from Newport, Perry County, First Major Sergeant Gary Stouffer.
The train operator says the investigation shows the truck proceeded onto the tracks eight seconds after the flashing lights and bells activated.
