Arther Carter, of Shippensburg is facing multiple charges after back to back nights of drinking.
On December 1, Middlesex Township Police were called to a local bar for a fight involving 15-20 people. Three suspects fled the scene, before police arrived. When police arrived they found an Carter on the floor with a cut to his upper lip.
He was arrested for public intoxication after he was interfering with police and causing a scene after emergency crews arrived. He was taken to the drunk tank.
Then the next day, Carter was arrested on suspicion of DUI after crews responded to a single car crash with a car into a cornfield. Carter drove into the oncoming lane of travel nearly hitting another car. Carter continued in the opposite lane and went into the cornfield, flipping his car twice.
He was charged with DUI, driving on the right side of the highway and driving while DUI suspended.
