A sorority picture is causing a controversy at Penn State's University Park campus.
It shows Chi Omega sisters at a Mexican themed Halloween party. The costumes are not what's bothering people, it's the signs.
They say "will mow lawn for weed and beer" and "I don't cut grass, I smoke it"
"Trashy, stupid, inconsiderate more than anything else," commented graduate student Grant Berry.
“It could just be a Halloween party dressing up, but they went as far as the signs, that could be stepping over the line a little bit."
The picture first surfaced on social media. Final sanctions may come from the sorority's national headquarters.
The sorority sisters issued an apology for the inappropriate stereotypes.
