Nearly 2,000 food items have been collected by the physician practices affiliated with Carlisle Regional Medical Center, as part of their “A Time of Giving” effort to help families in need in the greater Carlisle area.
“A Time of Giving” was a partnership with the practices and Project SHARE in Carlisle, where each practice collected food items from November 1 through November 16 in their office locations.
A total of 586 donations were collected by The Musculo-Skeletal Institute of Pennsylvania, followed by Carlisle Internal Medicine with 566 items. A monetary donation to the food drive will also be given to Project SHARE.
All items will be delivered to Project SHARE for distribution to individuals and families in need in the greater Carlisle area.
