UPDATE:
Thursday morning the northbound lanes of Routes 11/15 in Watts Township, Perry County, were closed down after a fatal accident left two people dead.
"Two victims were driving a pickup truck southbound on the highway, when for unknown reason, they crossed over into the lane," Said State Police Trooper Adam Reed. "According to our preliminary investigation, the car struck a tractor trailer heading north head-on."
The accident happened just before 6:30 AM this morning in front of the new Buffalo Restaurant, shutting down the road and slowing traffic.
State Police worked with the Perry County Coroner to try and figure out exactly how this accident happened.
The driver of the tractor trailer was not injured in the accident.
There was heavy fog in the area, but it's not clear if it caused the accident.

State police are on the scene of a fatal crash on Route11/15 (Susquehanna Trail) in Watts Twp., Perry County involving two fatalities.
A pickup truck with two occupants was traveling south on 11/15 when it collided with a tractor trailer traveling north. For unknown reasons, the pickup crossed into the northbound lanes. Both occupants of the pickup truck were killed, the tractor trailer driver wasn't injured. The Perry County Coroner's Office is on scene, the victims have not yet been identified.
The right lane of 11/15 is closed.
