The American Red Cross of Central Pennsylvania honored a Franklin County woman for her support of the U.S. military.
Linda Bruckart of Chambersburg served with the Red Cross for six months in Iraq and for six months in Afghanistan.
She provided morale, welfare and emergency communication services for our armed forces in those countries.
“I am certainly honored to have the opportunity to serve the Red Cross and our soldiers cause ultimately that's what it was all about to help the soldiers and their families," stated award recipient Linda Bruckart.
Bruckart was recognized as part of the Red Cross’s services to the armed forces.
