CORAOPOLIS, Pa. (AP) — A western Pennsylvania man is jailed on burglary charges because police say a 17-year-old girl snapped a cell phone photo of his car and license plate as she arrived home to find him leaving the residence.
Online court records don't list an attorney for 26-year-old Brian Flesher, of Pittsburgh, who was arrested Wednesday in Moon Township.
That's when police say Terri Hinch and her teen daughter, Amy, were returning home and saw Flesher's car. When they saw him come out carrying a box of jewelry, Amy Hinch took the picture and sent it to police.
Officers found Flesher less than an hour later in the same care, with the jewel box on his passenger seat.
Asked why she thought to take the picture, Hinch says, "I guess I watch too many crime dramas."
