UPDATE:
An accident that occurred just after 10 p.m. snarled traffic in the area of Hersheypark on Friday night. However, as of 11:15, the scene is clear and traffic is beginning to move again.
The accident occurred at the Route 39 bridge over the Swatara Creek. Three cars were involved, and one person was injured and taken to Penn State Hershey Medical Center with unknown injuries.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
