State Police are investigating a burglary that occurred sometime between November 20 and December 4 at the Carroll Township Community Park on Burn Hill Road.

The park’s concession stand and two sheds on the property were broken into. Not only was property damaged, but numerous items were also stolen.

Both of the sheds were broken open using a green metal stake to force open the locks. Most of the damage occurred at the concession stand.

The suspects moved a metal picnic table and leaned it up against the wall. A 2x6 board was then used to smash the second floor window. An Epson Projector was taken, as well as the inflatable screen.

The suspects then went to the first floor of the concession stand and downed some sodas and beers that were in the concession stand. They also made themselves some hot chocolate and packed some other items in a tote.

The criminals also stuffed several plastic cups in the microwave and attempted to melt them, causing damage to the microwave.

Before leaving, the suspects took the time to move the picnic table back to its original location.

Anyone with information on this crime is asked to call State Police or Carroll Township.
