WILKINSBURG, Pa. (AP) — Police say a 5-year-old boy somehow survived a fall from a fourth-floor apartment window near Pittsburgh.
Authorities say the incident happened about 2:10 p.m. Sunday in Wilkinsburg.
Witnesses say the boy's father rushed outside to tend to his son and urged the boy not to move until paramedics arrived. But police say the boy not only survived, he suffered only minor cuts and bruises.
The boy was taken to Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh as a precaution, but police say he was in good condition.
