Route 283 westbound, approximately 1 mile east of the Rheems exit, was closed for two hours Monday night after a four car crash.
A GCR Tire Centers utility truck was parked alonside the road behind a pick up truck. The pick up truck had two flat tires and the GCR truck pulled in to repair the tires on the pick up. A 2001 Pontiac Grand AM driven by Robert Edkin of Marysville went off the side of the road and struck the GCR truck, pushing it into the pick up truck.
The Grand AM was deflected into a passing tractor trailer, and then was pushed off the roadway.
The tractor trailer leaked diesel fuel in both lanes of 283.
No one was injured in the crash.
