On Thursday around 2 p.m., New Holland Police were called to the abandoned Skips Cutting Warehouse for a man removing scrap metal.
When police arrived, they surrounded the building using officers from New Holland, East Earl, East Lampeter and Ephrata, as well as a Manheim Twp. Police K-9.
Officers located Woods on the roof and with the help of Liberty Fire Company’s ladder truck, took him into custody.
Woods admitted to police he was inside the building to steal scrap metal.
He was charged with criminal trespassing and arraigned.
