The York City Police Department is investigating reports of shots fired on Thursday morning.
The shots were fired in the 200 block of Boundary Avenue. Witnesses gave police a description of the suspect and the vehicle.
Within several minutes of the original call, police spotted the suspect vehicle and tried to stop it. The vehicle fled the scene and officers followed the car until it crashed into a utility pole in the 300 block of Springdale Avenue.
Three occupants got out of the car and fled, but after a short chase were arrested. Police found two guns and illegal narcotics in the area. No one was injured in the crash, or by the shots fired.
The three suspects are currently in police custody and charges are pending.
