On Wednesday, around 315 p.m., a 12-year-old was walking home from school in the 200 block of North 27th Street.
A dark red pick up truck that was small and dirty with a cap and cloth-style interior pulled up alongside the student and a passenger asked if he wanted to get in.
The student replied ‘No thank you,” and the truck drove off. The truck continued south on North 27th Street and the student continued home.
The truck was occupied by two white males in the late teens or early twenties. Both were wearing knit hats and had large gauge ear rings with the passenger having some facial hair on his chin.
There was no attempt to further lure the student into the vehicle or force him into the vehicle.
Police are not sure if this was suspicious, but want the public to be informed. If anyone believes this incident was suspicious or has information on other suspicious activity, contact Camp Hill Police at 717-737-1570.
