On December 16, Lebanon City Police were dispatched to the 400 Block of Partridge Street for a report of two men fighting.
When police arrived they found an accident between a car and a pedestrian. The operator of the car fled on food, but police tackled him on the scene.
Witnesses told police a domestic dispute happened at one of the houses on the street. The male suspect assaulted his 28-year-old girlfriend.
A male neighbor witnessed the dispute and tried to intervene. The men began to fight in an alley.
The suspect left the area after the fight, but returned and intentionally struck the male neighbor with the car and then struck a house.
The male neighbor was standing on the sidewalk when he was struck.
The operator of the vehicle was arrested however he is currently receiving medical treatment for injuries he sustained as a result of crashing the vehicle.
The pedestrian is also receiving medical treatment for injuries sustained from being struck by the vehicle.
The injuries to both parties do not appear to be life threatening.
