Harrisburg Detectives are investigating the City's eleventh homicide of the year.
The shooting happened over the weekend and police now need your help to find the suspect. The autopsy on the man who was shot and killed was done on Monday.
Coroner Graham Hetrick says he died of a gunshot wound to the chest. 27-year-old Dion Britton of Harrisburg is the city's 11the homicide of the year.
Police say he was killed in a shooting that happened at the area of 5th and McClay streets in Harrisburg Saturday night. Someone drove him to Harrisburg Hospital and that's where he died.
The Dauphin County Coroner performed the autopsy and says Britton died of a gunshot wound to the chest. He was also shot somewhere else on the body, but he wouldn't say where.
Hetrick also couldn't tell us if it was as close range. The motive is still unclear. "It's just one more person that hasn't made it to their 30s yet and is dead because of violence. And here we have a week of violence and you'll have this discussion about gun violence, but i think we have to have a discussion about people violence."
