New Cumberland Borough Police investigating a robbery.
Officers were called to the Market Mart in the 400 Block of Bridge Street on Wednesday. The clerk told police a suspect wearing a ski mask displayed a kitchen knife and demanded money.
The suspect fled on foot and dropped the ski mask.
A short time later, police found Brandon Seiff, 21, on foot. Seiff fit the description given by a witness. He was positively identified by a witness and then later confessed to police.
The knife was recovered and Seiff was charged with Robbery, Attempted Theft and Simple Assault by physical menace.
He is currently awaiting arraignment on the charges.
No one was injured during the incident.
