Lancaster County Crime Stoppers are asking for clues to help solve a cold case.
During the early morning hours of December 7, 1987 a family member discovered Carrie Marshall dead, inside her home on the 500 block of South Duke Street.
An autopsy revealed that Marshall sufferred numerous injuries from a sharp edged weapon.
The scene appeared to indicate that a burglary occurred inside the home at the time when Marshall was killed.
Over the past 25 years investigators from the Lancaster Bureau of Police have interviewed dozens of people regarding this homicide, yet no substantial leads have been deveolped. Police and Marshall’s surviving family members are seeking answers and closure in this case.
