On December 20, Harrisburg City Police were called to the 200 block of Briggs Street for a report of a purse snatching.
A woman told police she was on her front porch unlocking her door when a robber grabbed her purse. He knocked her to the ground causing a contusion.
Police did recover her purse, but the vaulables inside were gone.
