Police Officers in Middletown spent the early morning Christmas hours in the hospital after carbon monoxide poisoning.
Under the mayor's order, Middletown Police are working in the Borough's electrical office this Christmas. This after four police officers were hospitalized over night.
CBS 21 News learned the officers were rushed to the ER with carbon monoxcide poisoning while working.
Family members told us the cops were taken to nearby Harrisburg and Holy Spirit hospitals.
Middletown Volunteer firefighters responded to the call that came in around 11 on Christmas Eve. And on Tuesday, the Police Cheif and the Fire Cheif were unavailable for comment.
A Middletown Borough spokesperson says there will be a full investigation.

CBS 21 has learned three Dauphin County police officers were hospitalized overnight for carbon monoxide poisoning.
It happened around 11:00pm Monday night as the officers were reporting for work at the Middletown Police Department.
A family member of one of the officers says that two cops were taken to Harrisburg Hospital and one was taken to Holy Spirit Hospital.
They were having trouble breathing and there's no word on their condition at this time.
The family member also tells us the police department was evacuated while fire officials investigated.
