A 19-year-old man is recovering after being shot in the chest in Harrisburg. It happened just before 2:00am Wednesday in the area of 14th and Market Streets. Police say they were responding to a shots fired call, when they found the victim sitting outside Harrisburg Fried Chicken at 1314 Market Street.
The victim told police he was walking west on Regina Street on his way to a restaurant and was shot for no reason. He said a dark colored car drove up to him and someone fired a handgun several times.
The man was shot in the chest, and was taken to Hershey Medical Center for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
