The Office of Administration announced that non-essential employees under the Governor’s jurisdiction who work in the Capitol Complex, Harrisburg area, Pittsburgh, Reading, Scranton and Philadelphia State Office Buildings are authorized to leave work two hours prior to their scheduled quitting time today, due to inclement weather.
Non-essential employees working in state office buildings located in other areas will receive specific instructions from their agencies.
Essential employees, particularly those working in public safety, will continue to work as scheduled.
