UPDATE:
A man reported missing from his home was found dead Thursday morning.
The 87-year-old had early stages of Alzheimer’s; he was last seen at his home just after noon Wednesday.
John Kilheffer’s body was found 400 yards from his home in an area of tall thick grass.
The 87-year-old went missing Wednesday afternoon and was last seen at the farm in the 1200 block of Long Lane in Conestoga Township.
Kilheffer suffered from early Alzheimer’s, it is believed he walked away from his home, out into the frigid weather.
More than five dozen rescue team members, police and firefighters searched for him Wednesday evening, with about a dozen continuing to comb the farm fields overnight.
Rescuers found his body just before ten Thursday morning.
At this time it is believed that Kilheffer died as a result of being out in the conditions and likely suffered hypothermia.

CBS 21 news has learned rescue crews in Lancaster County headed back out just a few minutes ago to resume the search for a missing elderly man.
Police say 89-year old John Kilheffer disappeared yesterday afternoon.
He lives at 1298 Long Lane in Conestoga Township.
We're told he suffers from early stages of Alzheimer's disease.
Kilheffer is a white man, about 5 foot 8 inches, 180 pounds and was last seen wearing a blue jacket and a purple and white hat.
He was last seen at his home on Long Lane around 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
Rescue workers were called off the search early this morning, after several police and fire crews spent hours searching the area yesterday on foot and with four wheelers.
Anyone who has any information on Kilheffer’s location is urged to call Lancaster County Communications or 911.
