A Reading Public Works Department pickup truck crashed into the car shortly after 2 p.m. Friday at Oak Lane and Richmond Street, a few blocks east of the Albright College campus, in northeast Reading.
Three people in each vehicle were injured, said police on the scene. At least two occupants of the car were seriously injured and trapped in the wreckage. They had to be freed by rescue personnel.
