Weih also told officers that on July 19 she came home to find Myers hiding in a bedroom with money taken from another part of her house. Weih walked Myers home that day but did not call police. Weih gave officers a card Myers sent her apologizing for going into her house on July 19.

When asked if she stole the money Myers said she took it from a bedroom drawer and pointed to a house across the street. Police contacted the residents of 91 Heritage Drive who confirmed cash was stolen while they were out between 0700 and 0730.
