Bouncer takes out robber, recovers woman's stolen purse

A bouncer springs in to action and saves a women's stolen purse.

The 55-year-old woman was shoved to the ground by the robber, but that bouncer did get her purse back for her. The robber got away.

Around 940 Tuesday night, the woman and a friend had just left the White Rose Bar and Grille.

They were talking in the parking lot when the man allegedly ran up to her, shoved her to the ground and tried to get away with her purse.

But a White Rose bouncer named Kenny saw the man running toward the women and was able to shove the robber to the ground, grabbing the purse back.

His coworker says their staff always looks out for customers.

“White Rose has such a reputation for and strive for excellence here with good customer service,” explained Bartender Mike Hoffman of the White Rose Bar and Grille. “That just shows we are looking out for everyone here, good staff, good bouncers, everyone’s excellent.”

Again the man police are looking for is described as about 5'9 with a thin build and close cut brown hair.

Of course if you recognize that man you should call police immediately.
