Montgomery County District Attorney Risa Vetri Ferman and New Hanover Township Police Chief Kevin McKeon announced in a press release additional details regarding the joint investigation into the death of a female discovered in a field on Little Road in New Hanover Township.
On Wednesday, August 29, 2012 at 10:22 AM, New Hanover Township Police responded to a reported found body at 2471 Little Road in the Frederick Section of New Hanover Township. Responding officers discovered the body of a deceased white female lying in a remote section of hedgerow adjacent to a cornfield. The body was discovered by a local farmer.
The female has been identified as Natalie Marella, age 26, of Ambler, Pennsylvania.
Although an autopsy was conducted last night, the cause and manner of death remain undetermined pending the results of toxicology testing. Further information regarding the cause and manner of death will be released when available.
