Silver Spring Township police say a delivery truck hit a fire hydrant causing water to shoot into the air.
It happened behind the Wegman's on the Carlisle Pike just after 10:30 last night.
PA American Water responded and the water was turned off, vut the private company Regency Centers owns the property the hydrant is on, so it will be responsible for making repairs.
Police say at this point the rest of the shopping complex is not affected.
