Around 2:00pm Sunday afternoon, PA State Police were called to the 800 block of Pheasant Road in South Hanover Township for the report of a domestic dispute.
The caller reported that 22-year-old Kellen Brown had assaulted two people at the home after having a fight with his girlfriend.
While on route to the home, officers were told that Brown had fled the scene with his 1-year-old son in his vehicle. Minutes later police saw Brown's vehicle heading East on Route 39 and attempted to stop him.
Brown sped off continuing to drive on Route 39 towards Hershey Park Drive. As the chase approached Walton Avenue in Derry Township, Brown used his vehicle to hit the pursuing officers car.
The chase continued on Walton Avenue to Main Street in Hummelstown and Fiddler's Elbow Road where police lost sight of Brown.
Brown was traveling at speeds of up to 75 mph in 25 mph and 35 mph speed limit areas. Shortly afterwards, Brown was taken into custody at his mother's home in Highspire.
Brown is being charged with Aggravated Assault, Simple Assault, Endangering the Welfare of Children, Recklessly Endangering Another Person, Fleeing to Elude a Police Officer and Criminal Mischief.
