The Harrisburg Auto Auction collected $35,337. 77 for Hurrican Sandy Relief. The Auction donated $5.00 for every vehicle. Employees also collected monetary donations from dealers attending the auction.

The Red Cross has deployed nearly 17,000 disaster workers from all 50 states; about 90 percent of these workers are volunteers. The Red Cross has also distributed nearly 7 million relief items. Since Sandy hit, response organizations have provided more than 163,000 shelter stays. The Red Cross provided more than 81,000 of those stays.
