One man is in custody after he fired shots at a teenager in York City.
Officers were called to a home at 459 West Princess Street around 7:42 Thursday morning for a shooting.
Police found Jose Serrano-Fernadini, 47, who lives in the first floor apartment at the address. Serrano-Fernadini told police he got into a verbal fight with a teen who lives in the second floor apartment.
Serrano-Fernadini confronted the teen about vandalism to his car. He suspected the teen had slashed tires on his car.
Serrano-Fernadini fired a .45 caliber pistol and fired a round in the direction of the teen.
Police recovered the gun and a shell casing in the home.
The teen was not injured and police took Serrano-Fernadini into custody.
He was taken to Central booking and charged with aggravated assault and reckless endangerment. He is currently waiting arraignment and processing.
